FAQ

During the summer of 1997, my family and I toured a part of the European continent. Traveling the highways in a motorhome, we visited five countries: Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland. (We also brushed through France.) My summer plans for 2006 called for a return to this part of the world, for a summer study program at an Adventist school near Salzburg.

As a reminder of this experience, and in anticipation of my next trip nine years later, I prepared this chronology of my first tour of Europe, based primarly on my my journal entries from the trip. Geographical names are in bold and given in the original language (German or Czech). See also a similar Chronology of my trip to Rome, 2002-2003.
