In August 2007, I made a special trip to Florida to watch the launch of space shuttle Endeavour on STS-118. The shuttle went off flawlessy only one day behind schedule.

Endeavour landed safely at Kennedy Space Center at 12:32 pm EDT on Tuesday, August 21.
