WAEC Launches by Year
This launch was for my 11th birthday party. I seem to like launching rockets on my birthday.
I don't remember all of the details of the launch. I remember launching Hijax. Its cargo bay was full of coins from Europe. The coins were a bit off-set, so the rocket spun on the way up. The recovery was rather uneventful.
I also flew Gnome. It soared over the creek, and we had a bit of trouble recovering it because there was no bridge across the creek. I was rather frustrated that Gnome had flown so far off course.
We launched Mongoose. It landed on the roof of a fourplex. Oops. We had to go back to the park after the party to get it down.
The last flight of the day, if my memory serves me right, was of Ted's Hawkeye. It landed in the roof gutter on a fourplex. We were not able to retrieve it. Too bad.
